Iron Mountain Project

Iron King Project, Peru

The Iron King Project is a "district scale" mineralized system in the coastal batholith range of Peru. Located approximately 55km east of the Porto Supe and 175km N-NE of Lima. The project encompasses 120km2 claim block with widespread Au, Ag, W, Cu, Mo, and Fe mineralization.

The Techical Discovery Team is based out of Lima. The project is held under a 65-35% ownership agreement with SAN LORENZO DV CONSULTORES SRL (DVC). Additional 25% interest can be earned for $1m in expenditures in two tranches of $500,000, on the formation of a 90-10% JV DVC with have the option to fund at 10% or dilute to a 2% NSR (purchasable for $2m)

</html>Extensive historic vein and disseminated artisanal gold mining activity throughout the claim block. Previous work in the tungsten/gold area in the 1950's with minor extraction, and limited exploration in the 1970's confirmed the presence of high grade tungsten
There is no history of exploration drilling. New infrastructure has opened access to the area. Community access agreements have been signed.

The project holds multiple mineral targets with in a gold dominant system. The September 2012 program covered 10% of the project and returned:
  • Granite-Magnetite Zone - Three grab samples over 200m returning 3.67 g/t Au, 14.6 g/t Au,16.9 g/t Au and from 4.9 g/t to 33.8 g/t silver, and 0.07 g/t to 0.3% Cu
  • Marcela Zone - 12 grab and chip samples over square 300m returning 0.022 g/t to 1.64 g/t Au and 0.1 g/t to 126.4 g/t Ag with anomalous copper and zinc.
  • Skarn Zone - Two 30cm chip samples separated by 140m returned 5.4 g/t Au and 19.4 g/t Au with 3.8 g/t silver and 23.4 g/t Ag
  • Limonite Gossan Zone, Six 2 m chip samples over a 60m wide gossanous structure; 0.014 g/t to 1.4 g/t Au with 2.3 g/t to >300 g/t Ag
  • Low Sulphidation Gold Zone - A 300 x 800m area of low sulphidation style alteration punctuated by the discovery of a 5.028 g/t Au grab sample.
  • A 3.5 km long trend of iron magnetite in the western portion of the Project with a central iron unit mapped as 25m true thickness, over >300 m wide.
  • Limited work in the 1980's focused on the tungsten skarn potential returning grades of 2 to 43 oz/t Ag, 0.006 to 0.014 oz/t Au, 15.2 to 58% Pb, 18% to 23% Zn , up to 10.3% W
